For clinicians
TUG and gait speed, without the stopwatch and the paper form
Step Doctor runs the Timed Up and Go and a short walk with a phone on a stand. It times the test from the video, records the result and gives you a PDF report for the patient's file. We're preparing a version for clinics and want to hear how you test today.
What it measures today
Timed Up and Go, phase by phase
Total time from the Go cue, split into six phases (stand up, walk out, turn, walk back, turn to sit, sit down), each compared with published instrumented-TUG reference values.
Walking speed and gait
Walking speed, cadence, step and stride length, step timing and left–right differences from a few seconds of walking toward the phone. No sensors to put on.
A report for the file
Every test ends with a PDF report and a 3D replay, so a repeat test can be compared with the last one.
Voice cues
The app gives the start and turn cues itself, so the same instructions are used every time.

Request early clinic access
Tell us who you are and where you test. We use the answers to decide what the clinic version needs first; an email is only needed if you'd like us to reply.
Step Doctor supports screening and monitoring. It doesn't diagnose, and results should inform, not replace, the judgement of a healthcare professional.
